Northern lights kayaking tour

Sea kayaking under the northern lights is a once in a lifetime adventure and a spectacular way to enjoy the night out.

After pickup, we begin this tour with getting dressed up for kayaking in our heated arctic tent which will be our basecamp for the evening.

We then set out in sturdy double kayaks to explore the arctic night looking for the auroras (you may paddle singles on request if you can document sufficient kayaking skills).

After our tour on the water we return to basecamp and change into warm arctic suits.

We then spend the night ashore under the auroras, keeping warm in and around our arctic tent with hot drinks and soup.

This is a guided tour and you do not need previous experience to join us. A safety briefing and introduction to sea kayaking will be given before setting out.

The tour can be challenging if you have limited experience from the arctic outdoors. If you are unsure, we recommend that you join the winter kayaking day tour, before booking this adventure.

Our guides are experienced photographers and tripods are included on the tour, so we will be happy to help you set up your camera for the best shots if you want.

Late night we return to the city centre.

NB! Please check the weather forecast or contact us before booking this tour. Our goal is to give you a spectacular adventure under the northern lights and if we see they will not be present due to overcast weather conditions we will recommend you save your money:-)
